Age 2 - The Worm Incident
One day while Richard was swinging in his swing sucking his thumb he was observing
a worm with his other hand. Afterawhile he switched hands and began sucking on the
thumb that was a moment ago holding the earthworm. Well, that's how Richard's
life began. Wondering about wild life.
Age 4 - A Snake as a Present
Richard recieved a pet snake as a birthday present.
Age 6 - Fight with a Baby Bear. Richard won.
Richard was at a petting zoo and was eating an ice cream cone. The baby bear decided he wanted some ice cream and went for Richard's cone. Richard refused to give up without a fight. Soon a crowd was forming as Richard and that the baby bear were duking it out! Ricchard won and kept his ice cream cone.
Age 14 - Cross Country Trek across Florida - Survival Hike
Richard and a group of hikers hiked from one East side of Florida to the West side. Everybody lost weight except Richard who actually gained 2 pounds!
Age 20 Vietnam - Airbourne 101st - Battle of Hue - Hamburger Hill
Bit by jungle bug, contracted jungle fever. Has had it ever since!!!
